"Do you ever find yourself struggling to bridge the gap between knowing chords and actually making them sound musical? I personalise the experience by focusing on the specific mechanics of improvisation and soloing. Drawing upon my degree from Trinity Laban, I ensure we cover everything from reading sheet music to the complexities of scales and modes.
We will dedicate time to tuning and maintenance so your instrument is always ready for the stage. Power chords get their turn, but only once we have built a solid foundation. A practice module with every lesson to keep momentum is provided as part of our work together.
This structure keeps you grounded in your progress. I look forward to hearing your progress in the chapel style."

"Earning a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire provided a rigorous foundation that I now apply to my guitar teaching. Having spent 13 years in music education, I have had the pleasure of teaching 143 students ranging from curious kids to busy working professionals. My own background is firmly rooted in the Anglican cathedral choir tradition, which emphasises discipline and structural integrity. I bring this same level of detail to helping intermediate learners and self-taught players who are seeking a clear path forward.
It is rewarding to see students master chord transitions and complex strumming patterns through steady practice. My experience spans from guiding absolute beginners to refining the lead guitar skills of those ready for more challenging material. I enjoy working with people who take their development seriously."
