About Barb

As a licensed architect with 5 years teaching Revit, I help you bridge the gap between academic theory and the daily realities of professional design. You will find that my approach centers on your current skill level and specific project goals, ensuring that every session builds toward concrete results. Because I work in a live practice, I bring current workflows to our conversations while focusing on essentials like project templates, standards, and worksets.

My instruction remains patient and structured to ensure you gain total confidence in your technical abilities. You are going to leave our sessions with a clear, professional command of your software.

About the lesson

Starting your first session involves an honest assessment of your current workflow to identify exactly where you need to strengthen your technical foundation. You tell me your goals, and we walk through the specific tools you need to succeed, whether that means managing complex curtain walls, phasing, or design options.

Expect us to work through annotation, dimensioning, and revisions in a way that feels logical rather than overwhelming. I incorporate Dynamo for beginners when you are ready to automate repetitive tasks and save time on your projects.

We spend time on walls, floors, roofs, and ceilings so that your modeling habits are clean and efficient. These 9 specific project workflows are the foundation of my teaching style. I prioritize clarity and measurable output so that you see real progress within 8 sessions. Helping students navigate the complexity of a 3D model is genuinely satisfying work.
