About Oscar
I am a second year English student, and the media and marketing secretary at UCL Snowsports! At GCSE I achieved: 9 - English Language 8 - English Literature At A-levels I achieved: A* - English Literature A - English Language I used tutors during my A-levels to help me get a wider understanding of the subject - something that gave me the ability to excel in my exams, but also present myself to Universities and potential employers. I received offers from UCL, The University of Warwick, The University of Manchester and The University of York and was able to get an interview at Cambridge to study English. I love being able to work with people that are in the same position I was in only a few years ago and help them achieve their goals.

My approach exceeds the curriculum, helping students with wider reading to hone literary skills, think critically, and articulate their ideas persuasively. I specialise in these exam boards: AQA Edexcel OCR My tutoring covers all key areas, including: GCSE: Analytical skills for Paper 1 and Paper 2, creative and transactional writing, and perfecting exam technique. A-Level: Advanced close reading, critical theory, essay structuring, and sourcing contextual analysis of set texts. Whether you need help mastering Shakespeare, dissecting unseen poetry, or structuring a top-band essay, I can provide the support you need!
