About Minaal

Hi! I'm Minaal, a dedicated and passionate tutor specialising in A-Level and GCSE Psychology and Sociology. As a current, 19 year old, university student with a strong academic background in these subjects. Having dealt with an unsupportive environment during my A-Levels, my online sociology tutor supported me in overcoming the challenges i dealt with. Teaching is important to me as I want to give students the motivation, and an extra push towards their success.

My approach is designed to make learning engaging, relatable, and tailored to your individual needs. As well as give students a positive and impactful educational experience. I am committed to providing a professional, supportive, and approachable environment that will help you achieve your academic goals with clarity and confidence. About the lesson

I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student's unique needs and learning style. My goal is to help students truly understand the key concepts in A-Level/GSCE Psychology and Sociology, enabling them to apply their knowledge in their assignments or examinations.

The first lesson will usually entail of the student and I familiarising ourselves of one another aswell as their academic goals so that I can then create effective and efficient lesson plans for my students.

Lesson Structure:
The typical length of each lesson is 60 minutes, which allows enough time to cover content material without a student feeling overwhelmed or losing focus. However, this can be lengthened or shortened to fit the students needs.
Each lesson will consist of a 5-10 minute recap where we discuss the content covered in the previous lesson.

Assignments and Exam Practice:
Coming to the end of each unit/module I will give students an assignment to ensure deeper knowledge consolidation for the student, for long-term benefits. As well as working on any further assignments or exam practice, according to the students needs.

Currently working towards achieving a BSc in Psychology – With a strong academic background, I’m familiar with both A-Level and GCSE curricula, and multiple exam boards, having excelled in these subjects myself.

Who Are My Lessons For?:
A-Level and GCSE Students – Whether you're just starting your course, preparing for mock exams, or heading into your final exams.
Ages 14-18 – My lessons are designed for students in secondary school, focusing on the AQA, Edexcel, CIE and OCR exam boards.
