Parts of Speech (8 main categories): Noun – book, teacher, happiness Pronoun – he, she, they Verb – run, is, eat Adjective – big, beautiful Adverb – quickly, always Preposition – in, on, at, under Conjunction – and, but, because Interjection – wow!, oh! --- 2.
