About Sade

My name is Sade, and I am currently working as an Assistant Psychologist in the NHS within adult acute inpatient mental health care. I have recently been successful in gaining a place on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and will begin my training to become a qualified Clinical Psychologist in October 2018.

Throughout my Psychology career so far I have demonstrated a strong academic profile, and recently gained the British Psychological Society Undergraduate Award for achieving the highest overall grade within my cohort at the University of Westminster in 2017. I am well versed in the syllabus for both A-Level and BSc Psychology level education, and am able to tailor my approach to the needs and level of the students I teach.

My particular strengths and interests include: Research Methods in Psychology (using both quantitative and qualitative methods), Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology and Developmental Psychology.

I maintain strong links with the University of Westminster, and have since returned following graduation to give talks to students about my journey within Psychology, as well as provide informal mentoring for students.

My approach to teaching is based on the notion that academic achievements and practical experience are both important in following a career in Psychology. In this way, I am able to offer tutoring with a difference, taking into consideration the aspirations of each student and helping them to develop their skills in order to thrive in the current field of employment within Psychology.
