About Max
During the last 2 years, I have spent time voluntarily tutoring A-Level and GCSE students, often friends of family or connections. This has given me an opportunity to develop my tutoring skills. Given my own late diagnosis of a processing difference during A-Levels, I have also found that sharing my experiences with students has been particularly impactful and allowed me to offer more tailored support for learning styles. In my opinion the most important aspect of becoming a tutor is ensuring a space for students to feel comfortable but at the same time offer structure and goals so that one does not stay off task!

I offer tailored tutoring sessions designed to meet each student's unique needs and goals. Whether you're seeking assistance with exam structure, revision techniques, or specific content areas, I adapt my teaching methods to ensure you gain the most from each lesson. Duration: Each session lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour, providing sufficient time to delve into topics thoroughly without overwhelming the student. My tutoring journey began by assisting family and friends, which expanded through connections and volunteering at primary schools during my sixth form years. Subjects Offered: GCSE History A-Level History A-Level Politics I utilise a variety of resources, including past papers, discussion-based learning, and tailored revision materials, to reinforce understanding and retention.
