I approach students by first understanding where their knowledge is lacking and what learning style best suits their needs. This is accomplished by asking questions and listening first rather than simply delving right into it. I always ask for students’ feedback on my tutoring style in order to effectively teach them. Each student is different, so it’s important to cater lessons to their learning style.
A typical session would involve teaching the basics of the lesson in question, giving the students opportunity to ask questions, then delving into examples. I would provide assistance with example questions then ask them to try a few on their own, and evaluate from there.
I graduated York University with an honours BSc in physics specializing in astronomy. I have 3 years tutoring experience working with students from grade 7 to grade 12. The subjects I covered were math (including calculus), chemistry, general science, and physics.
I currently work at a company that designs and manufactures entertainment systems for MRI machines.

Perfect! Natalee is an excellent tutor, very patient and great at explaining! Thank you Natalee!
Natalee and I went to university together, she majored in physics and astronomy and I was taking pre-med.
In my last year of undergrad I took a first a physics course as this topic is covered on the MCAT.
Out of all my courses in university, I found physics to be the hardest; I was constantly in my prof’s office hours asking questions, watching countless videos online for assistance, and i couldn’t seem to fully grasp the subject until I had Natalee’s help.
My profs were excellent but often times their teaching style didn’t resonate with my learning style, something which Natalee was able to hone in on and pinpoint my needs.
By the end of the course I received an A and longer term, I was accepted into medical school. If it wasn’t for Natalee’s help, I’m not sure I would have ever grasped physics. I give her a 5 star recommendation
I took Intro to Calc at Humber and with Natalee’s help, I was able to ace the course. She is a very attentive tutor who understood how to explain the basic concepts of the course which was not easy for me to grasp at first. She would sometimes tutor a bunch of us at the same time and I felt she did just as well one-on-one as she did with many people. At the beginning of the course I had a 58%, but the end I finished with an 81%.
Highly recommend Natalee as a tutor!
