About Lexi

Hi! I'm Lexi, a 14-year-old student who loves learning and helping others feel confident in school. I know how tricky some subjects can feel at first, and that's why I really enjoy explaining things clearly, step by step, in a way that actually makes sense.

I'm kind, patient, and really easy to talk to. If something doesn’t make sense the first time, I’ll explain it in a different way — no stress, no judgment. I truly believe everyone can learn well with the right kind of support.

My lessons usually last 45 minutes, depending on what you need help with and how much time you have. I prepare mini quizzes, clear notes, and fun examples to keep things interesting and helpful.

Even though I’m still a student, I’ve already helped younger kids (my 8 year old sister) with subjects like English, maths, and science — and they’ve told me they felt a lot more confident after just one session. I know what it’s like to feel stuck or unsure, and I always try to create a calm, friendly space where learning feels good.

My teaching style is super supportive and relaxed — I explain things step-by-step and use drawings, colour-coding, and mini quizzes to help make everything stick. I believe learning should feel exciting, not stressful!

I am really good at revision and making things stick. I use spaced repetition, active recall and actually useful flashcards. These help me ace my exams.

Each lesson is usually 45 minutes, but I’m flexible depending on how much we want to cover and how you're feeling. Sometimes a quick 20-minute recap is perfect, and other times we might dive into a big topic for a full hour.

Even though I’m still a student myself, I’ve helped younger students (such as my sister) with subjects like English, science, and maths, especially when it comes to breaking things down for tests and homework. I’m super organised, and I always come prepared with notes or practice questions to make learning feel clear and calm.

My lessons are perfect for students aged 8 to 12 who want a bit of extra support for 11 + or just to go over a topic they are unsure on
