About Kiara
Teaching piano became my primary focus 13 years ago after graduating from the Oberlin Conservatory. My career spans San Francisco studios where I guide diverse students from college applicants to curious adults.
I teach ear training, hand independence, and jazz improvisation alongside traditional scales. Pedaling technique and sight reading are central pillars of my instruction. I am MTNA fluent and prioritize deep technical accuracy. Precision is my standard.
