About Noelle
I am a dedicated flute tutor with 7 years of experience teaching High School, College students, and adults, having successfully taught around 300 students. My teaching philosophy is to provide lessons that are engaging, personalised, and rewarding.
I emphasise technical skill, tone, rhythm, music theory, and performance practice, while nurturing creativity, expression, and confidence. I believe learning the flute is a journey that combines discipline, joy, and self-expression.
Many of my students have performed in concerts, competitions, and school or college events, achieving milestones that showcase their growth.
I strive to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment, helping students develop skill, confidence, and a lifelong passion for music while discovering their unique musical voice.

My flute teaching methodology is flexible, student-centred, and interactive. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace and preferred learning style while keeping communication clear and positive.
I explain flute techniques such as breath support, finger coordination, tone development, articulation, and rhythm in simple, step-by-step instructions. Lessons include demonstrations and listening exercises tailored to each learner.
I use real-life musical examples and case studies to show how flute skills are applied in recordings and live performances. This helps students connect lessons to real musical experiences.
In addition to flute, I teach music theory, ear training, rhythm training, scale development, sight reading, and basic improvisation. I also help students build expressive playing skills and strong practice habits.
