About Ally
I have been playing flute for over 8 years. I have had both private and group lessons, been a part of 2 bands (jazz/stage and concert) and still continue to play after leaving lessons and band. Though I may lack in teaching, having only taught 2 people, I am willing to do my best to help anyone who wants to learn this beautiful instrument

Cover the basic theory in the piece, structure, timing etc. Then play through the piece focusing on each part at a time. Patience is key when it comes to music. Gaining confidence in a piece through breaking it down is how I was taught and it is a useful way to learn
