About Jalen
I am an experienced Piano tutor with 21 years of teaching experience, guiding school students, college learners, and working professionals. I believe piano learning should be positive, supportive, and well-organised.
My teaching philosophy is centred on strong fundamentals and regular improvement. I focus on finger strength, rhythm accuracy, sight reading, and musical expression. I explain lessons in a simple and friendly way so students feel comfortable and confident.
I design lessons according to each student’s goals, whether learning classical music, popular songs, or playing for personal enjoyment. I also guide students on proper home practice.
Many of my students have successfully performed in school programmes and achieved steady progress in their skills. Supporting students in their musical journey is my biggest achievement.

I offer constructive feedback and positive reinforcement to motivate and encourage students. I also apply the same methods to other subjects, creating interactive and personalised learning experiences.
My goal is to empower students to achieve their goals, develop confidence, and cultivate a lifelong passion for learning and self-expression.
