About Poppy

As Founder & Lead Educator of Poppy’s Tutoring Company and a Director on the Board of The Tutors’ Association , I have a unique role to understand the Education sector in its entirety. With over a decade of experience in education, I’m trusted by families across the UK and internationally to deliver high-impact, confidence-building maths tuition.

Before founding Poppy’s Tutoring, I worked within the education system writing EHCPs and care plans, giving me a detailed understanding of how schools, specialists and families can work together to support diverse learners. I now use this expertise to tailor every maths lesson to each student’s learning profile.

I specialise in supporting neurodiverse learners — including dyscalculia, ADHD, ASD, dyslexia and anxiety-related learning barriers — using structured, visual and step-by-step teaching methods that reduce overwhelm and build mastery.
