About Enes

Enes Pektas is an award-winning opera singer, based in New York. His vocal journey has seen a significant milestone with his Carnegie Hall debut, which this led him to start his Master’s degree at Mannes School of Music. Originating from a background in cello during his high school years, Enes's artistic pursuit took a pivotal turn towards opera. This led him to embark on his bachelor's degree at the Istanbul University State Conservatory. He worked with teachers and coaches as Arthur Levy, Dr. Cristina Stanescu and Glenn Morton. Enes has been teaching online and in-person lessons since 2016. Among his students are opera singers, voice artists for TV series music, actors, and pop music artists with a wide age range, varying from 10 to up to 70 years old! In his early career he won the Istanbul Baroque Singing Competition, shortly followed by his opera and house debut at the Sureyya Opera House. Enes's talents were further recognized with a full scholarship to the Vinceró Academy. Enes won the Siemens Voice Competition and the Thomas-Kuti European Singing Competition in the recent years. Recent engagements have seen him covering the title role in "Don Giovanni" with the Light Opera of New Jersey, playing the roles “Le Fauteuil” in "L'enfant et les sortilèges," and “Leonidas” in "Lysistrata, or the Nude Goddess” by Mark Adamo with Mannes Opera.

In my Music Lessons, students will explore a variety of focus on the fundamentals of music notation, helping you understand and interpret written music with confidence.

For my youngest learners, I offer Early Music Learning Activities that provide a fun and interactive introduction to music concepts, rhythm, and melody, laying a strong foundation for future studies. Additionally, I provide specialized preparatory sessions that cover ear training, test strategies, and insights into the conservatory admission process, equipping students with the tools they need to succeed.

I have been teaching for more than 8 years, and among my students are opera singers, voice artists for TV series, actors, and pop music singers, ranging in age from 10 to 70 years old!

I'm dedicated to continuously improving myself to provide you with the best education possible, focusing on the unique needs and aspirations of each student.
