About Shankari
Award-winning Quilt Artist, featured in magazines and art shows. Some of my students have won awards at local fairs. Students say that I am patient and kind and make sewing fun. It's all about your pace, so there is no rushing to deadlines. We just continue in the next class. I also teach large settings, like Kids' sew camps, and quilting guilds.

I'm a patient instructor, teaching kids from 7yr and up to adults. From complete beginner with sewing machine basics to learning new skills for making your own quilts. I'm flexible, and teach depending on your skill level. From scrunchies, to zippers, aprons, and maybe even clothing, like pajama pants! I teach sewing classes to home school kids, adults, and anyone willing to learn. I've been teaching sewing for 15+ years, including hand embroidery, crochet, and quilt piecing.
