About Jeanie
Piano is my second study, but it is just as vital as my vocal background. You deserve a teacher who understands that your hands should mirror what your voice expresses.
I use my NYU Tisch degree to focus on memorization techniques and pop and contemporary styles. We will drill scales and arpeggios until they feel like second nature. Chord voicing and sight playing are the foundations of the work we do together. I find the process of building technical proficiency very rewarding.

Practice is often most effective when it feels less like a chore and more like a game of musical puzzle solving. Most beginners mistakenly believe that playing more notes equals better music. My training ensures that I teach you to phrase like a vocalist, even when you are only using your fingers. I assign weekly practice modules with every class to keep your progress moving forward.
