About Brittney
"Earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Popular Music from USC Thornton School of Music provided the foundation for my 13 years playing across Boston. I started picking at strings at age 4 and eventually realized that guiding adult beginners is the most rewarding part of my week. Helping folks move past basic pentatonic patterns into deeper music theory and lead guitar concepts is a regular focus for me.
Whether you need help with reading tabs, acoustic technique, or maintenance, I handle the technical side while keeping things relaxed. Do you have a favorite song you have always wanted to play?"

"Teaching often feels like helping someone find their own voice rather than just repeating notes. I honestly enjoy the process of turning simple chords into real music more than anything else.
9 backing tracks are provided for every student so you can practice your soloing skills comfortably at home. These sessions incorporate songwriting, scales, modes, and grade exam prep to build your confidence on the instrument. My approach is rooted in the formal training I received at USC Thornton.
