About Emily
There is nothing more remarkable to me than the power of photography! I picked up my first camera when I was 5 years old, and have been developing my skills ever since. I am irresistibly drawn to the challenge of finding my next photograph, and mastering the skills required to capture it effectively.
I first studied Photography at the prestigious University of Adelaide. During this time, I set up my small business, Emily Jade Productions, and have worked with clients ranging from weddings to large festivals ! Having worked in photography professionally for 7 years, I am now seeking the opportunity to teach others about this wonderful craft.

I am an enthusiastic but gentle teacher, keen to share everything I have learnt throughout my qualification and career!
Things you will learn with me:
1. The basics of the modern camera
2. How to take the camera off 'auto'
3. The fundamentals of the Exposure Triangle: ISO, Aperture & Shutter Speed.
4. How to gain experience as a photographer.
5. Encouraging the student to explore their world with their camera.
6. Introducing other, more complex concepts when the timing is right.
7. Explaining what industries and jobs are available for photographers.
8. Explaining other equipment that is used beyond cameras and lenses (lighting, lens filters etc).
My lessons are for Beginners & Intermediate Photographers and are 1 hour in length.
