About Luis
I have been a tutor for high school and university students for 8 years, and I have been teaching Japanese for 5 years. I studied Japanese at the Center for Studies and Certification of Foreign Languages (CCL) of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, up to advanced level. I have a JLPT N3 certification. I started teaching while studying my degree in Multimedia and Digital Animation at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematical Sciences, and I went on to teach full time upon graduation. In addition to Spanish and Japanese classes, I tutor for math and physics students as well, and in my spare time I develop video games.

My language classes are structured in a similar way to what is used in any regular language center, a class plan is followed where each topic involves an explanation from me, exercises and practices with the students, and "individual" exercises to check the student's mastery of the subject before proceeding to the next one. I do not use exams in individual classes, since they are not necessary for me to evaluate the student's progress.
