About SURPRISE NSOVO
Hello, my name is [SURPRISE NSOVO MUKHARI], and I am an Economics tutor with a BCom Honours in Economics (NQF 8) from North-West University (2025) and a BCom in Economics (NQF 7) from the University of Venda, where I earned distinctions in Business Mathematics, Introduction to Econometrics, Applied Mathematics in Economics, and Industrial Economics. I tutor around your own syllabus, textbook, and past papers, starting with the real-world intuition behind each concept before building the mathematics on top, so you understand the "why" before the "how" — and because I completed my own Honours research project and degree recently, I understand the pressure of test weeks and tight deadlines and teach with patience, structure, and respect. I teach in English, and lessons run for 60 minutes (90 for exam prep), following a simple format: goal setting, concept review, guided practice, independent application, and a clear summary with optional practice work. My lessons are aimed at undergraduate Economics students (first to third year) and Honours students needing support with modules such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Business Mathematics, Monetary and Fiscal Policy, Public Finance, International Trade and Finance, and Development Economics. Whether you are aiming for a distinction, recovering a module, or simply want to truly understand economics rather than memorise it, I will meet you where you are and support you every step of the way — I look forward to working with you.

My lessons are aimed at high school economics subject (grade 10-12) and undergraduate Economics students (first to third year) covering Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Business Mathematics, Econometrics, Industrial Economics, Money and Banking, Public Finance, International Trade and Finance, and Development Economics; Honours-level students needing support with Econometrics, Monetary and Fiscal Policy, or research project work; and any student who feels lost in large lectures and needs one-on-one explanation at their own pace — whether you are aiming for a distinction, recovering from a failed module, or simply want to finally understand economics rather than memorise it, my lessons meet you where you are, and I would love to help you make economics make sense.
