About Yak

I live and breathe music ever since I could walk. I have worked hard to establish myself as a professional musician, and now that I've had the privilege of working with world-class performers it seems only natural wishing to give back. Nurturing young talent and guiding adult students enables me to see good progress and hopefully instil my joy of music.

About the lesson

I provide piano tuition for all ages at my studio in Acton/Chiswick. My piano lessons are always bespoke, catering for every student’s needs and abilities individually. I offer a wide range of musical styles suiting beginners and professionals alike. I have a 100% success rate with all students wishing to pass ABRSM exams. I am fully DBS checked, also working with internationally acclaimed performers and holding a senior lecturer position at a renowned music university.

Perfect! Pure Data help for 1st year university music undergrad
My son had one two hour session with Yak to tackle a very difficult technical assignment using Pure Data. He found Yak very helpful, practical, interesting and engaging and enjoyed the character of Yak's studio.

Outcome : The result is he feels confident in completing the task now. We'd have no hesitation in going back to Yak again.
