About Cassidy
"Over 12 years of active performance and teaching, I have cultivated a deep well of musical knowledge. My career includes helping 169 students find their rhythm at the keys.
I work with kids, advanced learners, and those returning to music after a long break. Watching a self-taught player finally grasp structure is my favorite part of the job.
I know how to navigate the bridge between complex theory and simple execution. My goal is to make sure you feel capable and prepared. I get results."

"Do you ever find yourself struggling to remember exactly what you practiced during our last session? I make sure to record a short playback of each session so you can review the material at home as many times as you need. This technique helps bridge the gap for intermediate learners or those who want to master sight playing and classical repertoire. Because I hold a BFA from NYU Tisch, I bring a high level of pedagogical rigor to every single minute we spend together at the piano.
We will spend time on sight transposition and chord voicing so that you can navigate any chart with ease. My lessons are designed to be fluid and efficient for students of any level.
By removing the pressure of perfect recall, I allow you to focus entirely on the nuances of your performance. You will find that these recordings serve as a vital tool for your personal progress. Please reach out if you would like to start working together."
