About Sheena
I’m a dedicated tutor with a strong background in science education and research. I’ve worked with elementary, high school, and college students, particularly those in advanced academic tracks. I graduated from the Philippine Science High School, one of the top STEM high schools in the ASEAN region, and I went on to earn a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the State University of New York.
Over the past five years, I’ve worked in cutting-edge biotech startups in Boston and the San Francisco Bay Area. My global academic and professional journey has given me the opportunity to support learners from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I bring patience, adaptability, and a genuine love of teaching to every session, helping students build both confidence and mastery.
