About Noah
I am a young professional currently living in San Diego working as a tutor and renewable energy consultant. I graduated from the University of Washington in 2020 with honors and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and promptly got EMT Certified.
I proceeded to spend the next two years working as an EMT, running 911 calls in Seattle, generally working four 12 hour night shifts per week. This gave me plenty of opportunity to practically apply my education in the life-sciences which allowed me to make use of a lot of concepts that initially felt abstract or intangible, furthering my passion and curiosity for science.
I scored a 2100 on my first attempt at taking the SAT and have since helped students score even higher by passing on to them all the test-prep tips and tricks that I was taught initially.
As a renewal energy consultant I have become even more well-versed in real-world application of chemistry, biology, environmental science and ecology. In summary, my primary goal is to instill the passion for learning in my students, and coincidentally this tends to set them up to succeed educationally for the rest of their lives.

I have been helping students of all ages learn and succeed in a number of subjects for the past 10 years. I strive to not only help the student learn specific course material but to gain a curiosity and passion for science as well. I tailor my approach specifically to the learning needs of individual students and try to teach them how to actually learn more effectively so that they can take the tools I leave them with and apply them to future educational endeavors.
Unlike other tutors I aspire to prepare my students to an extent where they don’t actually need to continue meeting with me frequently. I feel that I’ve succeeded when a student who initially struggled with a subject can independently excel in a subject new to them by confidently applying the methods of learning I taught them. Give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach a man to fish and he’s fed for life.
I’ve taught a myriad of students in various disciplines, from 3rd graders learning grammar to 41 year old medical assistants taking statistics as a pre-requisite for nursing school. My strongest subjects are chemistry, biology, math and SAT Prep.
