About Edwin

I am dedicated to helping students understand concepts and tackle challenging questions in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. While I provide guidance, clear explanations, and practice strategies, real progress depends on the student’s commitment to review and practice at home. I work best with students who are motivated to improve and take an active role in their learning.

About the lesson

I focus on making science simple, clear, and engaging by breaking down complex concepts and linking them to real-life examples. Lessons are interactive, with a balance of explanation, worked examples, and exam-style practice to build confidence and strong problem-solving skills. Each session lasts 1.5 to 2 hours, starting with a quick recap, moving into new content, guided practice, and ending with key takeaways and a revision plan. I am a Biological Science graduate and current Dentistry student with a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I have been tutoring family friends’ children for over 3 years, helping them improve their grades and confidence. In addition, I bring discipline and motivation from over 14 years of national-level badminton and table tennis experience and 10+ years of fitness training, where I’ve also coached others to achieve their health and lifestyle goals. I teach GCSE students (ages 14–16) who want to strengthen their science knowledge, improve exam performance, and be inspired to stay consistent and motivated both inside and outside the classroom.
