The freedom to explore the living world around us is what makes biology exiting. Inspired by those before me and their experiences, I pursued a research career, and now I wish to share my experience with others. As a teacher, I provide my students with the analytical skills used in the sciences, but that can be readily applied to everyday life.
The lecture classroom is usually just a presentation of facts. This environment allows teachers to present the background information of a particular discipline, although much of the students find hard to put in context such concepts. Here is were the integrative approach is used.
