About Harvey
Technical precision in music often masks the simple necessity of actually enjoying the instrument while playing it. After 13 years of performing on stage and in the studio, I teach guitar with a focus on scales, modes, and ear training to bridge that gap. You will find that my approach to teaching electric technique and songwriting prioritizes musicality over robotic drilling.
I guide students through fingerpicking and complex strumming patterns while maintaining a direct, curiosity-driven atmosphere in every room. My philosophy is that sound progress is always audible.

Specific goals drive my 7 hour long sessions because structure prevents the aimless practice that stalls development. I utilize my Artist Diploma in Music Performance to break down lead guitar and power chords into manageable, logical segments for every student.
We examine blues progressions and grade exam prep materials through a lens of practical application rather than static theory. My goal is to ensure you possess the tools to navigate your instrument with genuine confidence. These meetings are meant to be functional and rewarding. I truly enjoy seeing how your unique musical voice emerges through the fretboard.
