About Sarah
I am a Guitar tutor with over 10 years of experience teaching college students. My teaching style is fun, goal-oriented, and focused on helping students achieve their musical ambitions while enjoying every step of the learning process.
I teach chords, finger techniques, improvisation, and songs while making music theory simple and practical. I also use play-along tracks, recording exercises, and interactive methods to make practice engaging.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve helped students gain confidence, improve their rhythm, and even compose their own music. My goal is to make lessons productive, enjoyable, and personalised, ensuring each student grows as a musician and enjoys playing Guitar.

My teaching methodology for guitar combines creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. I focus on helping students enjoy learning while developing technical skills and musical understanding. Students are encouraged to explore new styles, improvise, and compose music to express themselves.
Mentorship is key. I guide students patiently, provide personalised feedback, and help them overcome challenges. Critical thinking is emphasised through analysing songs, understanding music theory practically, and solving problems creatively.
Accountability ensures consistent progress. We set achievable goals, track improvements, and celebrate achievements. Lessons include exercises, practice, and creative projects to maintain engagement and motivation.
Along with guitar, I also teach music theory, improvisation, and composition. My aim is to nurture confident, independent, and creative musicians who enjoy learning and performing music at every stage.
