About Louis
I have professional experience delivering one-to-one lessons in piano, vocals, and music theory, alongside a BMus in Performance and Recording from the University of West London.
My background also includes studio work as a recording engineer and performing as a vocalist. This allows me to bring real world insight into my teaching.

My approach to tutoring centres around building a strong musical foundation in a supportive learning environment. I tailor each lesson to the student, adapting my teaching style to suit their goals and preferences.
I combine practical playing and singing with essential music theory, ensuring students improve their technique while learning to enjoy performing. My lessons are interactive and structured, often including warm-ups and technique exercises, while developing a repertoire. I also find it fun to include creative activities like improvisation and songwriting.
Lessons typically last 30–60 minutes, depending on the student’s age and level. I primarily teach primary school students and beginners, but I’m happy to support anyone starting their musical journey.
