About Barbara

I am an architect, a student of public politics in Portugal and I love discovering other cultures and languages. I gave private lessons in English and Portuguese. More than teaching a language, I believe in cultural exchange. Being able to talk, understand expressions used in everyday life and ways of dealing in the world.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on speaking only Portuguese. Listening, writing and listening, but also with cultural information from Brazil, especially Rio de Janeiro (city where I was born). Understand the language and culture. Therefore, always presenting music, artists ... (Brazilians!)

Perfect! I love Barbara's Portuguese classes. They're very balanced and suited to my level, combined with topics of my interest and Brazilian culture. I'm advancing very quickly and I always have a good feeling after class. Barbara is professional, punctual and very nice. I'd recommend her to anyone!
