Teaching mathematics is simply how I see the world. It is interesting how many board exam students feel overwhelmed by word problems and linear algebra concepts at the start of our journey. I completed my BSc at Monash with First Class Honours in Advanced Maths. That credential informs everything I do today.
Over the last 15 years, I have worked with 221 students ranging from adults returning to study to those prepping for competitive exams. My work centers on demystifying mental math and complex mensuration.
I rely on a structure driven mindset to keep my students on track. There is no need to fear a failing grade. We work through the mechanics of problem solving strategies until the logic becomes second nature. I suppose that is just how I work.
