About
I have been tutoring in Math for about 5 years now. One-on-one, I have taught 4 middle school students, 1 high school student and 2 college students. I taught math at 2nd-7th grade levels at a private school for 2 years, voluteered at a public middle school for a year and worked in the tutoring center at the college for a year. Within 2 months of working with my first middle school student, her 32% average on tests and quizzes became a 95% average. I haven't helped anyone as much as I helped her, but all my students have succeeded. I hope I can also help you succeed!

I started tutoring at the middle school level but I have also worked with some of my peers at the college I attend. I am a very thorough and patient teacher. I have the most experience with homework assistance, but I am also capable of preparing lessons if there are certain areas that need to be focused on or re-taught. As far as structure goes, I learn by doing and that is reflected in the way I teach (i.e. homework, practice problems, games)
