About Joshua
I am currently a Business Student who is between College and University. I have been studying Pre-Business at George Brown and will begin an undergraduate degree at Ryerson University in Business Management. In high school, I was involved in a Peer Leadership Mentor and Development program. This involved me gaining extensive knowledge about learning styles, learning disabilities and hours of hands-on experience. In this program, me role was comparable to that of a student-teacher. I also have over 100 hours of volunteer experience with Church classes with students up until age 17.

I believe in using hands-on examples to engage students in what they are learning. Many of my peers would regularly struggle with math since they found it intangible and purposeless. I find that by teaching with realistic examples is helpful, both in remembering and understanding a given concept. I personally enjoy math myself and any questions that students may have, inside or outside of classes are happily accepted.

For lessons within the City of Toronto, no transportation fee is required. For lessons outside Toronto, you may inquire about fees on an individual basis.
