About Tayjaah

I'm a sophomore at Shenandoah University majoring in Digital Marketing! I am also a Dance Minor. I have a passion for inspiring others to continue to do what they love, and if they don't have that love yet, I make sure they find it! I have succeeded academically in high school, but my main successes took place on the stage. Performing over 50 times in a span of 16 years, playing all different types of roles. My theatrical creativity mixed with my thinking skills created a new way at looking at everything for me! And my job for each student is for them to achieve the same!

About the lesson

Hi! I'm Tayjaah, but you can call me Tay! While I may be new to the tutoring field, I am not new to teaching children how to love what they learn! I have had experience as a camp counselor and theater camp assistant, so I know how each student has their own individual skills and strengths! My goal each time I step into a role such as that, is to provide a comfortable, encouraging environment for the student to help them succeed in the best way they can! Because I am new to this, however, I have started my hourly pay a little lower than most so we can both see if this is the right path!

I am available to help any elementary and some middle school homework for English and Math! My main strengths fall under vocabulary, spelling and grammar when it comes to English. For Math, I can help out with any and all elementary level mathematics! Additionally, I have also been in theater/dance for over 10 years so if they are interested in the arts I will be happy to assist them in that process as well! Whether it comes to singing, dancing, or acting, whatever gets your child the lead in a production, I will be of great assistance!

Although I may be a new tutor, I am not a new teacher, and since I have a very creative and extensive background, I will make sure to not only help your child understand their course material, but learn to love what they are doing! Hope to speak with you soon!
