About Brayden
I am a student as well that can understand where you are coming from. I have been assisting friends and classmates with math understanding in calculus and below for about two years after I taught myself it online. I was going to be a part of my schools math tutoring program until corona-virus led to the program being temporarily suspended.

My method of teaching is what works best for me, I provide a overview of how to do the thing, provide a example that I go threw and you can ask questions during, then I try and let you do one on your own. If you got it right we will go over your work and show how you ended up with the answer, if you got it wrong we will do the same except in the meantime trying to see what went wrong, was forgotten, or accidental overstepped and try and emphasize that in our next practice.
For starting from scratch learning I take a approach of concept explanation and its applications while trying to start on how the concept came to arise, for example derivatives, explaining them as basically a representation of what the slope of the line at that point is, and how that can be used to extract data like acceleration from speed graphs. Rather then the math jargon approach of calling it the limit of two points on the line as the distance between them equals zero.
