About Gerri
Hi, I’m Gerri, and I'm excited to work with you!
I earned my bachelor's degree in chemistry from Caltech and my master's degree from Northwestern. My academic focus was on inorganic and bioinorganic chemistry research, including spending a year as a Fulbright research fellow in Munich, Germany.
Teaching has been a central part of my experience—from one-on-one tutoring through the Caltech Dean’s Office to creating intriguing STEM demonstrations for local schools. I’ve also worked as a teaching assistant for various general chemistry courses (including as a head TA twice) and a graduate-level NMR spectroscopy course.
If chemistry feels challenging, I’m here to break it down into manageable pieces, helping you strengthen your understanding, improve performance, and gain confidence.
