About Cora

I am a Cambridge Politics and Anthropology graduate (BA and MPhil) supporting students across the arts, humanities and social sciences with personal statements, admissions exams and interview prep, as well as with essay-writing and coursework, including Extended Project Qualifications. I hold a first-class BA (Human Social and Political Sciences) and MPhil (Social Anthropological Research) at distinction from the University of Cambridge, with concentrations in political theory, comparative politics, political anthropology and anthropologies of social transformation. I now lecture in open-source investigation within the university’s research methods school.

I came to Cambridge from a state school, and am especially experienced in supporting those from similar backgrounds.

About the lesson

I have extensive experience in successfully supporting students through the Oxbridge and wider university admissions process. I work collaboratively with students to gear sessions around and expand upon their established strengths and interests, structuring our work in a format familiar to the Oxbridge supervision system. Together, we’ll work to develop a personalised repertoire of literature, arguments and ideas for you to make use of in your personal statement, entrance exam responses, and admissions interviews.

I also supervise students working on A Level or university coursework in the humanities and social sciences, including Extended Project Qualifications, long essays, and dissertations. I am highly skilled in editing and proofreading for the purposes of assessment. Both my BA and MPhil dissertations were in receipt of university prizes.
