About Millie
Covering the full spectrum of math from basic arithmetic to complex statistics requires a wide variety of tools. Sometimes I still find that even the most advanced students struggle with fundamental number sense.
I have taught 464 students using specialized problem-solving strategies and mental math techniques to build confidence. Mathematics should be approached as a language of logic rather than a set of memorized formulas. I prefer to keep my instructions simple by focusing on the underlying mechanics of every problem you bring to the table. By leveraging my MS Computer Science from USC, I often show how statistics and probability functions mirror the logical structures found in programming. We will walk through homework help and trigonometry until the concepts click into place for you.
