Perfect! Amélie has been helping me improve my conversation skills for about a month, and I have already noticed an immense improvement. For example, in the last week I was able to have multiple short conversations in French. Before, I would have given up right away.

Amélie is extremely patient. She allows me to find words on my own, even when it takes me awhile. She notices when I am making an error repeatedly and will gently correct me and show me how to fix it. She knows her grammar, English and French, inside and out. She is also great at keeping the conversation engaging and fun by asking questions and also adding stories of her own.

Amélie is a skilled educator. I highly recommend her.

I found Amelie to be helpful to practise / feel confident speaking at B2 level French at McGill University - including debating more philosophical subjects – especially since it's hard to practise speaking French in Montreal/Quebec. I was also introduced to some new ideas, perspectives, etc in relation to French and/or Quebec culture during our sessions. I found her literature background useful, and I know I would have used her knowledge more if I had continued studying francophone literature/philosophy courses.
