About Ling
Hi, 你好!
My name is Ling, and I’m a certified Mandarin teacher (TCSL/IMCPI) with extensive teaching experience in top Mandarin training centers in Shanghai from 2013 to 2017. Since then, I have continued teaching part-time, thanks to word-of-mouth recommendations, while pursuing a career in business.
I recently completed my business studies and returned to China, motivated to once again share my passion for Mandarin teaching and cross-cultural exchange. Over the years, I have specialized in:
-Pronunciation coaching (I previously recorded textbooks for institutions)
-Practical speaking skills for real-life and business situations
-Grammar learning with clear and effective methods
-Survival & Business Mandarin programs, combining my language expertise with professional business background
-Structured study plans with tangible outcomes, including HSK preparation and mock exams

Free Trial Lesson
Every journey starts with getting to know my students first! That’s why I offer the first trial lesson completely FREE.
What to expect in the trial lesson (around 45 minutes):
-10 min → Getting to know each other
-15 min → Short oral conversation check in Mandarin
-10 min → Feedback (pronunciation, speaking, grammar, reading…)
-10 min → Personalized study suggestions & potential learning plan
Before the trial, please share a bit about your current level (e.g. total beginner, HSK level, how long you’ve been learning, or words you already know).
After the trial, you can take your time to decide if you’d like to continue with me on a structured learning journey—with clear goals, effective methods, and enjoyable yet impactful lessons.
Lesson Packages (1 lesson = 1 hour, including a 5-minute break)
-Pronunciation / oral practice only (for non-beginners) → from $25 / lesson
-Beginner students: Conversation / systematic learning & practice (according to HSK levels and daily topics) → from $35 / lesson
-Intermediate students: Comprehensive program (step-by-step learning from your current level) → from $45 / lesson
-Advanced students: Customized curriculum (business Mandarin, presentations, specific themes & materials) → from $60 / lesson
