About Florentine

My first experience in teaching French was back in Australia, where I helped the teacher in her classes with high school students. I passed my second year of English and Art History studies after a first year in a Franco-German degree in English and Modern Languages (French). This first year allowed me to study French literature in more detail, but also to teach the French language to foreigners at the Language Center of my university. This year, I obtained the certification for the advanced course of the MOOC “Teaching French as a Foreign Language Today” from CAVILAM, the French Alliance of Vichy. I also had French teaching lessons in second year of university. Entering third year of English studies, I plan on becoming a French teacher abroad afterwards.

About the lesson

My teaching method adapts to all profiles. If you are just starting out, I will be there to guide you step by step to excellence. I also have prepared course outlines with introduction to the theme, general then detailed understanding of a text (quiz or other exercises), and oral expression for several levels of the CEFR (A1, A2, and B1) and I could do it for C1 and C2 levels if necessary. If, on the contrary, you prefer to focus on a single skill, let's say oral expression, I will organize sessions to have various conversations, scenarios, etc. It is up to you to tell me what you prefer!
