About Zara

As a videomaker and traveler, I understand how important language is in connecting people and entering each other’s worlds and cultures.

I’ve been living in India for the past three years, and beyond teaching, I love exploring the incredible cultural diversity around me. Through my videos, I document the people, traditions, food, and everyday experiences I encounter, sharing them through my project, “The Way It Is.”

I believe that learning a language is not just about grammar and vocabulary, it’s also about understanding people, communicating with confidence, and discovering new cultures. I bring this perspective into my teaching to make lessons practical, engaging, and connected to the real world.

I’m friendly, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping my students feel comfortable using a new language.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centered and designed to each learner’s individual needs, interests, and goals. I believe that language learning is most effective when students are genuinely interested in what they are learning.

Before starting lessons, I take time to speak with the student and understand their level, goals, interests, and the areas they would like to improve. Based on this, I create a personalized lesson plan and focus on the skills they need to develop most.

I like to make my classes interactive and engaging rather than relying only on just traditional textbooks. We use a variety of teaching materials and tools, including conversations, videos, texts, exercises, and real-life topics. Students are always encouraged to ask questions, and they can feel comfortable asking as many questions as they need. I want every class to be a space where students feel comfortable making mistakes, practicing, and learning without pressure.

A typical class includes a combination of conversation, explanation, practice, and interactive activities, depending on the student’s goals. I also adapt the pace and structure of each lesson according to the student’s progress.

My classes are suitable for learners of different ages and levels, including children, teenagers, university students, and adults. Whether you are learning Persian or English for everyday communication, education, travel, work, or personal interest, I can adapt the lessons to your specific needs.

Most importantly, I make sure my classes are never boring. I believe learning should be useful, engaging, and something students genuinely look forward to.
