About Karol
I am a recent Chemical Engineering graduate (Integrated Masters) achieving a First-Class Degree with Honours. I am also currently working as a Graduate Process Engineer at a consultancy in London. I studied Maths, Chemistry and Geography at A-Levels, achieving A, B and A, respectively.
I loved studying chemical engineering at university as I enjoyed learning how complex theories and principles are applied and used to solve real-life challenges. Studying this degree has refined my problem-solving skills and made me a logical individual, helping me perform in my current role as an engineer.
Throughout university, I always enjoyed explaining difficult concepts to my peers, going through questions with them and explain my way of working. At work, I am part of an educational programme where we go into schools and teach KS3 pupils about ocean literacy. I aim to progress that work and help students achieve their personal goals in school to ensure a great future!

To get the most out of tutoring, the student must be engaged, with the student highlighting the topics they want to improve in, concepts they misunderstand and exam questions they struggle with. This is done by an initial assessment, where we can chat about what the student wants out of the tutoring lessons.
My focus is on providing interactive and personalised lessons that ensure progress in the subject.

- Use illustration and videos to explain concepts and theory.
- Going over worked examples to get a handle of exam technique.
