I teach in the same way in which I was successful as a student: not based on memory, but on really understanding what is studied, why it is studied and maintaining a high level of motivation to make the learning process enjoyable, which is sometimes so hard if the student dislikes the subject.
The students will no longer approach an exercise according to a series of steps to follow that they have repeated over and over again; they will learn to visualize it and automatically detect the path to achieve what is requested. There will be no problem resisting to them.
