About Ivy
My interest in chemistry began with fascination for molecular transformations and reactions that govern natural and industrial processes. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, providing both theoretical expertise and practical lab experience. Over 9 years, I have guided students at all levels, emphasizing conceptual understanding, experimental competence, and critical analysis.
I teach with clarity, patience, and practical demonstrations. Lessons combine guided problem-solving, real-world examples, and applied experiments, enabling learners to see concepts in action. I focus on understanding principles rather than rote memorization, building confidence and analytical skills.
Outside the classroom, I engage with chemical research, laboratory techniques, and new scientific developments. Incorporating these insights into lessons keeps teaching current and relevant. Witnessing students gain mastery, problem-solving ability, and curiosity in chemistry is deeply fulfilling. My goal is to create learners who can apply chemical knowledge thoughtfully and effectively.
