About Olasupo
I’m Mowa, a 4th-year medical student at the University of Ilorin.
Chemistry has been part of my world since secondary school, and it’s only become more central to what I do — I rely on it daily now in biochemistry and pharmacology.
I also tutor Python and AI to other students and serve as Vice Chairperson of my university’s tech club, so breaking down difficult concepts for someone else is something I do regularly, not just occasionally.
With chemistry specifically, what I bring is patience and a refusal to let a concept stay fuzzy — if something doesn’t make sense, we stay with it until it does.
For a subject as exam-heavy as Cambridge/IGCSE chemistry, that’s the only way understanding actually holds up under pressure.
I currently tutor a Cambridge IGCSE student through their full syllabus, and I’d be glad to do the same for you or your child.

Chemistry has a reputation for being a “memorise and forget” subject — and that’s usually because teaching stops at what, and never gets to why.
My approach is to dig into the why behind every concept until it actually clicks: why atoms bond the way they do, why a reaction releases energy, why a trend shows up across the periodic table. I keep peeling back layers until we hit the root idea, then connect it to something real, so it’s logic instead of memorisation. I also work past-paper style questions into lessons regularly, since Cambridge/IGCSE exams test application, not just recall.
Lessons typically run 60 minutes, with a short recap at the start to check what’s actually stuck before we move forward.
I’m a medical student at the University of Ilorin, so chemistry isn’t something I studied once and forgot, I still use it constantly in biochemistry and pharmacology.
I currently tutor a Cambridge IGCSE student through the full syllabus using this same method.
These lessons are for secondary school students working through Cambridge or IGCSE chemistry, whether you’re just starting out and need the basics to make sense, or you’re heading into exams and need specific gaps closed.
