About Alex
I'm Alex, a nerd with a passion for learning and teaching. I have been tutoring for nearly a decade, teaching both Maths and Chemistry, and completed IB Maths, Physics and Chemistry with an A average.
I've also faciliated a number of youth programs through Rotary International, as well as fostered the creation of a Neurodivergant Association within Flinders University.

Humans are inherently curious creatures and this curiosity has lead us to expand across the world and built monuments surviving thousands of years. But regular schools can often suck away that curiosity and drive to learn, which is a travesty, spitting in the face of all the great learners of the past.
I intend to rekindle that spark. Everyone learns differently, everyone has different values, but by taking the time to get to know you I hope to bring out your own, unique brand of curiosity.
By looking at both the current curriculum and the history of your chosen topic, we can better understand why these lessons are important to learn. And if there's anything more important that learning the what, it's learning the why.
It doesn't matter where you come from, what your experience is, who you are, your age, your gender, your goals for the future, one thing remains constant. Wanting to learn more is always a good thing.

Perfect! Highy skilled, fantastic manner, excellent at identifying the core of the issue, AND what may motivate the child to change their habits to effect long lasting change. Easily connects with the child and the parents. Gave our son the recognition he was craving but also doesn't him get away with the thing that needed to improve. Understands neuro-spicy logic!
