About the lesson

I’m a passionate Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry. One of my favorite areas to explore is the fascinating chemistry behind food preservation and analysis. I love diving deep into the chemical changes that happen during food spoilage and how antioxidants and emulsifiers work to keep food fresh. Together, we investigate the science behind popular preservation methods like canning, drying, and fermentation.

My lessons focus on helping students understand not just the “how,” but the “why” of food safety and quality from a chemical perspective. I believe that chemistry is the key to unlocking better ways to keep our food safe, nutritious, and delicious.
