About the lesson

I am a Chemistry tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. My expertise lies in corrosion chemistry and effective methods for protecting materials from degradation. I enjoy helping students understand the science behind why metals and structures deteriorate over time.

In my lessons, I cover electrochemical corrosion mechanisms in detail, showing how oxidation and reduction processes affect different materials. I also teach passivation techniques, cathodic protection, and strategies for selecting materials with high corrosion resistance. My approach ensures that students not only learn concepts but also understand their practical applications.

I integrate industrial case studies and real-world examples of material degradation to make lessons engaging and relevant. This helps students see how corrosion affects pipelines, bridges, and other critical infrastructure.
